Mariam Ibrahim’s twenty years (20) career spans investment advisory, equity/debt capital raising and fund portfolio management.

Her career commenced at FSB Bank Plc where she worked as an operations officer and later moved to the private banking arm of the bank. She also worked at BGL Securities Ltd as a Senior Investment Executive before leaving to set up Inverness Wealth Management Ltd, a Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) licensed Fund Portfolio Manager, managing portfolio and assets on client’s behalf.​​

She holds a degree in Business Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, a Post Graduate Diploma in Islamic Banking at the Islamic Banking and Insurance Institute London and an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot Watt University Edinburgh, UK​

Mariam Ibrahim is a member of the Nigerian institute of Directors and also has a certificate in Board directorship from the GCC Board of Directors and Financial Academy Riyadh. She has attended various courses which include Disruptive Strategy and Launching New Ventures from the prestigious Harvard Business School.​​

She currently serves on the boards of Prosperous Holdings Nigeria Limited and Noor Takaful insurance limited.​​
